HOW TO REDUCE BIRDSTRIKES!

The amphibian now sports a 12.5 foot (3.8m.) picture of a Japanese Sea-eagle on her fuselage sides, with kind permission of Randall Collis, the eminent American photographer who took the original image.

The design was originally conceived to be displayed at the 70th Anniversary Air Day of HMS Seahawk, the naval shore establishment at Culdrose. As reported previously, this event was cancelled.

The Chairman was so taken by the design that he authorised the application of the image, which was carried out whilst the engine change was taking place.

It certainly attracts a lot of interest.

FOR A CHANGE - SOME GOOD NEWS!

Negotiations are being finalised for another film role for the amphibian.

Details are confidential at the moment, but filming will be in the UK, at the end of the summer.

Ironically, having just applied a new logo, it will soon be hidden by a temporary paint scheme!
